New Addiction! Memeboxes!!

So I am not really great so much at the regular posting, yea? I do have a ton of boxes, hauls and stuff to show you guys, so hopefully I can update more often than biannually!

I was always hesitant to try a beauty box, mostly because none of them appealed to me brand wise, size wise, cost wise, etc. I am also very reluctant to get color products blindly! So when I heard about memebox, I was super curious! I love love Korean and Asian beauty products, which are supposed to be about 10 years ahead of US skincare products in terms of ingredients and technology. I also love that there is no commitment for us commitmentphobes, so no worrying if a box doesn't sound good. You can buy as you want, which has lead to me buying all the things!!

Here's what Memebox says about Memebox

Memebox is a rapidly-growing, leading e-commerce beauty retailer born in Seoul, currently headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
Memebox curates only the most trusted, best-loved Korean beauty products at everyday prices. An extremely competitive industry, Korean cosmetics are renowned for their unprecedented quality developed through cutting-edge technology. At the forefront of the industry, Memebox is determined to deliver the enchantment of discovery through effortless experiences, at prices you’ll never say no to.
Gently guiding your discovery, Memebox believes in offering consumers the utmost freedom, steering away from the traditional subscription-based programs offered by most other sampling services. Order from Memebox only when you want to, as often as you want to. In addition to our box series, Memeshop carries full-sized products featured in previous Memeboxes, offering easy access to Korean cosmetic trends.

Our boxes
Memebox
The original Memebox comes packed with 4 - 8 full sized products and deluxe samples, carefully curated from Korea to give you the best experience and widest exposure to a range of products.
Superbox
Superbox was inspired by our Memebox lovers, looking for full-sized products catered to specific needs. Each Superbox series comes with it's own theme, designed to target particular concerns.
Luckybox
We only have a limited supply of each Memebox series, and Luckybox was created to bring back our most popular items selected from previously sold-out Memeboxes, all combined in one wonderful collection. Each Luckybox contains a selection of products from past Memeboxes, occasionally including a few new favorites we simply could not resist including. Just like our Memebox and Superbox, Luckybox products are sourced directly from Korea, including only the best-loved items thoughtfully curated by our cosmetic aficionados at Memebox.

I've done Superboxes and Themed Memeboxes, and I have loved them. I've never done the regular global memebox or a luckybox. All memeboxes go pretty fast, but luckyboxes sell out the fastest from what I've noticed.

Memebox often does discount codes and bundles and sales, but they do charge for shipping, which I know is a bummer for some people. I will have some affiliate links at the bottom of the review that will save you some cash ;)

Now on to the review. This memebox is Memebox Special #6 Whole Grain. I got 5 memepoints (1 memepoint equals $1 off a future order).

Isn't the box cute? Very sturdy and it always feels like opening a present with the pink packaging the little box on top.

Inside of the box.

What I love about Memebox is that they include a card that describes all the products and how to use them, since many of the products are in Korean.

Let's pretend like I know how to take a picture.

1. Grinif Nature Oatmeal Scrub Bar (130g/$9)

This is a cleansing bar for your face, but I may try it on other acne prone areas as well. It is organic and handmade with oatmeal, rice bran, mung beans, red beans, shea butter and jojoba oil. It is meant to deep cleanse skin, as well as nourish and moisturize. It has a pleasant, spicy smell to it, reminds me of some of Lush's products.

2. Herbclinic Rice Bran Powder (80g/$8)

This is the only product in the box I'm meh about, only because I don't want to have to mix my own stuff! LAZY ORZ. This is Rice Bran Powder that is supposed to mixed with oatmeal, black bean or brown rice as well as milk to make a facial mask.  It is claims to be nourishing and revitalizing.  I think by black bean or brown rice they mean some sort of powder, because I feel like whole beans on my face is really weird, even for a country with snail facials.

3. Purebess Galactomyces 100% (50ml/$15)

Before getting this, I had no idea what galactomyces were.  Apparently it is a fungi.  The galactomyces are fermented to get a filtrate that is used as an ingredient. This is an essence, and the directions say to use as the first step of skincare. I consider cleansing my first step, and then toner (American), so I figure it would be after those two steps, since it doesn't say to wash off.  Anyway, this essence is supposed to lock in moisture, remove fine lines, brighten skin and rid pores of residues.

4. Purebess Galactomyces 80 Eye Cream (50ml/$20)

Fungi eyecream!! The description for this was the same as for the essence, but I assume the eye cream will not be getting rid of pore residue. My guess is the benefits would be moisturizing, brightening, and lessening fine lines.  I don't have fine lines yet luckily, but I could pass as a panda, so definitely excited to try this.

5. Purederm Anti Stress Heat Therapy Mask Oatmeal (150ml/$12)

So amped to get this. It just sounds so relaxing.  This mask opens pores with heat to get rid of residues in the pores, while delivering nourishment and moisture. It also claims to help skin elasticity and your overall complexion.

6. Purederm Rice Bran Collagen Mask (18ml/ 2 masks/ $5)
Sheet masks are my obsession. There is nothing more relaxing than kicking back with a sheet mask on. This mask contains rice bran, plant collagen and vitamin E, and claims to brighten and smooth dull skin.

7. Purederm Daily Moisturizing Hand Mask Oatmeal ($7)

I have never tried a hand mask before, but I am pretty excited to do this. Especially since my hands are peeling right now from my sunburn.  You are supposed to wash your hands with warm water, then wear the hand masks like gloves for 20-30 minutes, so pick a day to try these when you don't have to do anything.
 8. Purederm Invigorating Foot Scrub Walnut (25ml/$4)

At first when I got this, I thought of how bad everyone says the St Ives Walnut scrub is. But feet have thicker skin, so I guess the walnuts in this will cause less damage.  The scrub says it can also be used on elbows and knees.  Afterwards, you will have smoother, cleaner, softer feet! I do have some dry, rough skin on my feet from the amount of time I spent barefoot on my latest vacay, so this could be a godsend.

The Whole Grain is still available here for $23 plus $6.99 shipping. It will ship immediately since it has been released.

$23 for $80 worth of product is a great deal! Plus, all the products are vary usable, so this box is a hit for me, I would totally recommend and buy again (if I ever got through my monumental stash)

You can get $5 off your order with this code AFFILIATE-7599-IJMWD-YAEN or $3 off Bubble Box with AFFILIATE-2080-IP5MA-PSGF.

Those are obviously affiliate codes, but I can assure that anything I would get would go to more memeboxes, since I have At Home, Cacao, Skincare, Free from Oil and Trouble, Bubble Pop, Smile Care, Cleansing Kit, My Cute Wishlist, Detox Care, Superfood, Hair and Beauty 3, K Beauty Wrap up, Floral, Tropical and Sweet Shop on the way.  I may have a problem.

This post contains affiliate links, but all items were purchased, not provided, and all opinions are my own.
