2014 K-Beauty Wrap Up No 1

Hello lovelies!

Today I am reviewing a box I actually got only because I was so desperate to get the Cute Wishlist No 1 that was sold out except for in a bundle with this item. My personal memebox preference buying wise is to avoid the makeup themed boxes, because I am more willing to go blind into skincare than makeup.

1. Secret Key Body & Dress Perfume Mist (80ml/$10)

This came in 7 different options, but they don't say anything but a number, so I have no idea what the other scents are. I got Scent 4.  I tried googling to see if there was anything in English about the name or notes of this perfume or any of the others, but I found nothing.  The perfume itself is sticky feeling when it touches the skin, and doesn't aerosol into a fine mist, instead comes out as a jet of sticky liquid. If you sprayed this on a dress, I imagine it would leave a water stain. The smell itself is off putting, very old lady rotten flowers.  This is the first Memebox product I have ever been so disappointed in that I wanted to trade or sell it.  :( But alas, I should be positive and consider myself lucky that out of all of my boxes, I've only had one bomb of a product.  Hopefully other memers got better smelling perfumes :)

2 RiRe Lip Manicure (10ml/$18)

The color choices for this product were Warm Peach, Virgin Orange, Deep Plum, Rich Raspberry, Muse Red, Chiffon Coral and Pink Pink.

I received Rich Raspberry, which is awesome, because it was one of my top choices.

A lip manicure is supposed to be a lip color that boosts the level of color radiance and long lasting finish of nail manicures. They are supposed to be completely drink and food proof.

You apply the Lip Manicure on your lips, and wait a minute to close or touch your mouth while it completely dries.

I like the bottle design, which includes a funnel insert that helps scrap off extra product.

The color is extremely vivid and vibrant, very gorgeous. It's a thicker consistency, but I haven't worn it on my lips to see if it is tacky.

Swatch! I should have gotten the Hand and Nail box, because my hands look like mutant blobs.

I'm going to have to agree with the food/drink proof claim, as this is my hand after scrubbing with soap and water.

Ingredients listed in English, for those who have allergies, or want to avoid certain ingredients.

3. Secret Nature From Jeju Cream (50ml/$31)

Jeju is an island of Korea, that has a large volcanic rock formation, and boosts a thriving agriculture economy. Many Korean products will have the word Jeju in it, either referring to volcanic derived ingredients or the products were grown on Jeju island. This cream is the latter product, with organic broccoli, aloe vera leaf, asparagus, and carrot extracts grown pesticide-free on Jeju Island.

This is moisturizing cream that is nourishing and locks in moisture for a more radiant and glowing complexion. Isn't the bottle cute? It's pretty hefty feeling glass, and the top reminds me of a cork.

4. The Skin House Dr. Clear Magic Stick Roll (15 ml/$22)

This is a roll on spot treatment that is purse sized for acne emergencies! The acne like wood spots on the package are a little much though lol.

I personally wouldn't use it on top of my makeup, because I don't want to ruin my makeup, nor do I think that is the most effective way to get the active ingredients into the acne.

5. Oseque Dual Sun Block (70 ml/$46)

Asian suncare is miles above the US's, mostly because pale skin is prized there, while tan is adored here. I believe since this is a sun block that people who are allergic to chemical sunscreen can use this.

The dual formula is spray and cream, depending on which part of the body you are applying to.

6. W.Holic Roll On Perfume (10ml/$21)

This was available in 14 varieties.

I got this Lempicka, which is a great smell that makes up for the gross dress spray. It smells like an oriental floral smell, with a hint of spice to it. I love love love it.

The box costs $29 and has a value of $148. Very very good bang for your buck, even if you got the dead flower perfume.

This box is sold out, but you can try K Style 3, which is in the same theme of box.

There's also Back to School by Hope Girl Box that gives you two memepoints/dollars off a future purcahse.
